What You’re Agreeing To

By using WealthSprout, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes means you accept them.

What WealthSprout Is (and Isn’t)

WealthSprout is a virtual savings tracker, not a bank, financial institution, or investment platform. Balances in WealthSprout represent agreements between people — like a parent tracking allowance for a child, or an individual tracking progress toward a savings goal.

WealthSprout does not hold, transfer, or manage real money. No funds are deposited with us. Interest calculations are educational tools to teach how compound interest works — they do not represent actual financial returns.

We do not provide financial advice. Any decisions you make about real money based on information in WealthSprout are your own responsibility.

Your Account

You can start using WealthSprout anonymously. If you link an email address, you’re responsible for maintaining access to that email — it’s the only way to sign back in. We don’t use passwords.

You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. If you share a savings account with someone else through the app, they’ll be able to see and (depending on the role you assign) edit that account’s data.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use WealthSprout for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data without authorization
• Interfere with the service’s operation or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape data or create accounts in bulk
• Misrepresent WealthSprout as a bank or financial service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. This permanently removes your profile, savings accounts, transaction history, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

If you are the owner of a shared account, deleting your account will also remove access for anyone you’ve shared it with.

Availability

We aim to keep WealthSprout available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We won’t be liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

Limitation of Liability

WealthSprout is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Since WealthSprout tracks virtual balances and does not hold real funds, we are not responsible for any real-world financial obligations represented by balances in the app.

Privacy

Your use of WealthSprout is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.
